Luce County Pet Pals - About Us

Who we are:

  • The Luce County Pet Pals is a non-profit organization concerned with the welfare of Companion animals.

We raise money for:
  • Financial assistance for spay/neuter surgeries.
  • Construction of a safe and humane animal shelter for our area as Luce County does not have an animal shelter.
  • Care of homeless animals.

When you contribute, you are empowering the Luce County Pet Pals to do more for our homeless animals in our county.

What We Do:

  • We encourage and financially assist spay or neuter surgery for cats or dogs.
  • We help pet owners who can no longer keep their pet with finding another home for the animal.
  • We encourage and support vaccinations against infectious diseases or cats and dogs.
  • We publish a quarterly newsletter which provides information on pets available for adoption and information on pet care and safety. To see the most recent Pet Pals Newsletter click here.
How we can help:

  • Spay/neuter financial assistance for dogs

We can help with the cost of spay or neuter surgery
for your dog. Pet Pals has received a grant which enables us to offer financial assistance to those who otherwise would not be able to afford to spay or neuter their companion dog.  To print a copy of the PDF application for spay/neuter financial assistance for your dog(s), onto the link provided in the left menu under "Spay and Neuter Assistance".  For more information call Bonnie at (906) 293 3310.

Humane care is the responsibility of everyone.
Spaying and neutering will promote better overall health of your pet, as well as possibly protecting them from stray or wandering individual or pack animals.
